This book has absolutely saved my sanity and my online business. I started working online in June of 2010 and soon after had two strokes. When I returned to my desk in September 2010 I had zero clue where I had stored or filed anything on my computer.
My worse fear was someone calling and asking me to send them "a file". Within minutes I would be reduced to tears.

My desktop was an absolute mess, but I didn’t know where to put my important files and I felt like if I put them on my desktop at least I would know where they were. But it took me forever to find anything on my desktop and then, every time Microsoft did an update on my system it moved all of the files in an order THEY wanted. What a mess!

Where has this been all my life?” That’s what I was thinking when I read “Computer Chaos Control.” The most beneficial thing I have ever done in front of my computer was to spend half an hour reading that book! I quickly put off all of the less important things to actually implement what I just read.
If you have computer “Brain Fog,” don’t worry – it’s not your fault. You are just like most people on the planet: you just never learned an easy and logical way to organize and manage your files and programs. Everybody has 1440 minutes a day. There is nothing we can do to change that. Inefficient, wasted computer time must be the biggest time vacuum of the 21st century.
I can’t express how good it feels to know that I will never be bound by that “junk drawer at grandmothers house” feeling again. Now I sit down in front of my computer, accomplish the task at hand, and get on with other important things in life. I have gained literally hundreds of hours a year. This book is 20 years overdue – thank you!

John – Where do I start with comments? All in all, your book was an eye opener for the amount of disorganized clutter and waste on my computer! I had no idea there were so many programs, add-ons, etc., to help with being and staying organized. I loved the fences for my desktop, the colored tabs for each window, and being able to have so many tabs open at once! The Bookmarks with the add-on “Xmarks” for syncing between computers was the “bomb” (as my kids would have said!).
Honestly, that was amazing for me to be able to label and have my own row of bookmarks to open with one click! I get the “system” now. I didn’t think naming the folders exactly the same within different areas of the computer would work, but it’s beautifully seamless. I love it! I still have the task of going through pictures and dealing with that mess but at least now, there will be order.
I typed up the 4 lines: Delete it, Do it, Delegate it, or Defer it – I gagged on the thought of “deleting” any email, but once I went through and put important ones in their proper place, I was able to delete (gulp). Wish I had known about the password saver system – can’t tell you how many times I’ve had to search for one of them! And finally, order in the Start menu: genius! Your book was the best Christmas gift I got this year! Seriously, I know what I’ve learned and implemented will save me TIME, the most valuable resource I have. Thank you so much!

Thanks John! I can see my files clearly now that the clutter is gone. I didn’t have much of a filing system before reading your ebook. I had no idea how much I needed your book! Then I was really shocked to learn how much I needed it and how vulnerable my data was. I had all my photos stored on my desktop. I felt secure because I had them backed up to an external hard drive. But then I found out from your book that my external hard drive was only backing up what is stored in the “My Documents” folder, and all my photos and other important documents were not stored there. I learned a simple way to organize my files and it took no time at all to implement. Plus, I learned how to quickly find any file or document I had on my computer. Time is my most precious commodity – this book will easily give me a thousand-fold return on the cost of the book!
