New Computer Organization Book
Challenges Software Industry Standards

The recently released book “Computer Chaos Control” unveils the ultimate computer filing system and solves the problem that no one in the computer industry has been able to solve in thirty years of creating operating systems.

As computer storage sizes get larger and larger each year, and as people conduct more and more of their lives online, the mountain of data to search keeps growing and growing. Without a set filing structure, your ability to find things over the next decade could easily become more and more difficult.

The book’s author, John Cini, who’s been researching his new system for years, says, “Give me 20 minutes and I’ll save you hundreds of hours over the next decade!” He describes the book as a quick read that helps both computer novices and experts create a logical filing system to instantly find anything in their computers. “The system works for ANY computer, whether you have an old Windows operating system or a new one, or an Apple, or a different computer.”

Burke Hedges, who has sold 4 million copies of books he authored, such as “Who Stole The American Dream,” said of Computer Chaos Control, “LOVE IT, LOVE IT, LOVE IT! Thank you for your very well thought out and put together book. I’ve read it and have already started to organize my computer. Well done!

James M. Fisher, a Microsoft MVP awardee since Oct. 2003, recently saw an excerpt of the book online, then got a copy of the book from John and reviewed it on his site, Mr. Fisher’s reaction was, “If you are one of those individuals with your closets, cupboards, and drawers all highly organized, then this system is for you. If you are NOT one of those individuals, then this system is definitely for you!

Mr. Cini says the book’s true value is in putting a price on a system that helps you to never have to hunt for a file again. “The computer filing system I explain in the book has certainly saved me countless hours over the last 5 years, and it’s done the same for huge numbers of people I’ve helped setup computers. Having a system in place that helps you remember where you put your files is SO important and so easy to do, but most of us have never learned how to do that – no one has shown us how or given us a template to copy. This is unlike anything available anywhere today, online or offline.”

Does this sound familiar? “My desktop was an absolute mess, but I didn’t know where to put my important files and I felt like if I put them on my desktop at least I would know where they were. But it took me forever to find anything on my desktop …” That was the refrain from a number of people who previewed “Computer Chaos Control.”

Another reader commented, “I didn’t have much of a filing system before reading your ebook. Most of the time I would clump same-subject files together under ‘My Documents’. I’ve been looking for some kind of system like this for six years. It will save me countless hours of frustration looking for lost files. Your system gives me so much needed clarity not only to find my files, but the way I will categorize everything else in my life so I can find things easier.

Mr. Cini suggested that the biggest problem with all the online help about “How to Organize Computer Files” is that every site tells you to “Create folders and sub-folders,” but they don’t give you any examples of a logical folder structure or how to remember where you put things. “It’s beyond me why no one else has developed a storage system like this INSIDE the computer operating system – you’d think some brilliant techie at Microsoft would have thought of this 10 or 20 years ago!” Mr. Cini said. “Here you have a book that shows you how to do it all in a matter of minutes, so you can take charge of your computer!

Mr. Cini expects the ground-breaking system he’s introducing to quickly cause a change in computer operating systems: the book shows you how to manually fill in the current logical storage gap that exists in today’s computer operating systems.

In analyzing the computer industry’s lack of urgency in filling this void, Mr. Cini noted, If the computer and software companies really wanted you to be secure in your computing, they’d solve this problem in no time. But they don’t want that! They want you to upgrade your computer or software every year or two, continuing the chaos as you move from one system to another.”

Mr. Cini, a US Army Veteran, known as “The Technology Doctor” to thousands of clients and associates over the last decade, studied computer science at Virginia Tech and was a computer programmer at the US Bureau of the Census in the mid-1980s when Microsoft Windows was first released. While at Census, he was assistant programmer for data collection software for the 1985 Census of Agriculture, and collaborated on the 1986 Computer Usage Survey, published in an early computer industry magazine.

For 16 years, while running a marketing business, Mr. Cini authored “Gray Matter,” a marketing newsletter with more than a thousand subscribers. In 2002, he wrote his first book, “Internet Shopping Basics.” Today he writes for 3 different blogs, with subjects on marketing, ecommerce, and current events.
